On the 15th of April, I submitted photos to the amazing clothing company, American Apparel! Of course when I did this, I said to myself, “That’s a huge, nationwide company. They’ll never notice you.”
8 days later, the model casting director contacts me, saying, “You have a lot of potential, and we’d like for you to come to by on Friday to audition for our upcoming campaign.”
At that point I went crazy, just giving thanks to God for blessing with such great abilities. I cannot believe American Apparel noticed me, out of the thousands & millions of people who submit photos to them. This was the best news I’ve ever received in my young life, hands down!
Truly amazing, and only by the Grace of God. I love modeling, and I want to do it for the rest of my life.

The word can implies am I capable of. Of course I’m capable of removing my tag of Gia Carangi, but if you actually read my post in detail, you’ll see that she’s one of the supermodels who inspire me. That being said, I’d say my post has a lot to do with her.
First of all, I just want to give thanks to GOD, because these past few weeks have been amazing for me! I booked the Sears Spring Colors Fashion Show, and that’s a definite confidence booster for me. I struggle with believing that I’m less than, that I’ll never be, or that I lack, but I know now that I’m the only thing holding me back.
The Sears Spring Colors Fashion Show could potentially open so many doors for my modeling career. I’ve never felt so close to my dream. This is only the first step to the rest of my life. I’ll follow the great footsteps of the Supermodel’s who inspire me. Such as: Gia Carangi, Chanel Iman, Adriana Lima, Iman, and most importantly my mother!
I hope that one day I’ll be a “Haushold name” who inspires young ladies everywhere. I want young ladies to walk like me, talk like me, make facial expressions like me, and have people say, “Oh, she’s doing the Paige.” I want to help them realize they can break ANY mold, they can see ANY of their dreams come true, and they can make it. As long as they trust God, and never lose sight of their vision.
They say the first thing you think about when you wake up in the morning, has a lot to do with the way your future will play out. Well… You might call it a common coincidence, but modeling is the first thing I think about.
I have the world right in my fingertips, and I won’t waste the talents God has blessed me with.
Shout out: Young women, don’t discourage yourself from all you can become. you’re beautiful, you’re strong, and you’re great. You can make it!
